Have you got a wardrobe full of suits, what's the best way to care for them? Brook Taverner takes great pride in the quality and durability of our suits. We believe that if cared for properly, a Brook Taverner suit will give you years of loyal service, just like a Golden Retriever! HANGING SUITS ...should always be hung on a hangar, which has broad, rounded shoulder supports and fits the shoulder width of the suit. This will help to ensure it retains its shape. To avoid dusts or moths collecting, we recommend storing in one of our personalised, free suit carriers. Store in a wardrobe with a generous amount of space....there's nothing worse than reaching for your favourite suit and finding it's creased because there are too many garments in your wardrobe. PRESSING SUITS Brook Taverner use a variety of cloths in the making of our suits, from hard wearing worsted to lightweight superfine wools. Despite the durable nature of many of our cloths we recommend using a steamer rather than an iron. This will help to remove creases while protecting the cloth from the harsh effects of an iron. Another option is to leave your suit hanging in a steamed bathroom after each wear and prior to storage; this method is also effective in removing most creases. DRY CLEANING SUITS To prolong the life of your suits, dry clean only when absolutely necessary and use a reputable dry cleaner, they aren't all the same!
